Baisogala manor

is one of the largest manors in Central Lithuania, located in the center of the town of Baisogala. The Romantic-style mansion was built in the mid-18th century and completed in the late 19th-early 20th century. The mansion is surrounded by a 12-hectare mixed-structure park with ponds, which is a pleasant place to stroll at any time of year.

The appearance of the manor changed with the owners and the passing times. From 1830 until the interwar period of the 20th century, the manor was in the hands of the Komar family. During the Soviet era, the manor house was the home of the Scientific Research Institute of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine (currently known as the Institute of Animal Science of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences), which is still in operation today.
